How do you know when a familiar route has started lying to you?
Twenty years up the same ridgeline and I've started second-guessing every step I used to take without thinking. It's not the mountain that changed, necessarily — just something in the way I read it. Anyone else ever had that, where the thing you trust most quietly stops making sense? Not looking for advice, just curious if it's a common thing or if I'm going soft.
