Finally reading heat instead of just striking it

Spent the last few weeks learning to wait at the anvil — timing the blow so the hammer meets the metal as the rebound is still singing. I've started measuring my work by that ring instead of the clang of production, and honestly it's the first time in years the shop feels like my own.
