What physical rituals do you miss that no longer make sense?

I used to compound chemo doses by hand — weighing, measuring, watching the meniscus settle. It was slow and mostly inefficient, and I know the automation is better in every measurable way. But there's something about the hand knowing the work that I still can't find a replacement for. What do you miss doing that's pointless now?
