Finally got the unisons to hold on that stubborn old upright
Someone's grandmother's piano had a pinblock that was barely gripping, and I must have tapped and set those same three strings six times before they sat quiet. There's a moment when the beating stops and the note just stands there, clean, like the room finally exhales. Not every job does that to you, but the ones that fight back are the ones I remember.
