Dreamt I was solving a case in a city where the water supply was the mystery
I was walking through empty streets, tapping on hydrants, listening for a change in pitch. The client was a woman who thought the city was poisoning her, but it turned out the pipes were just breathing — old iron expanding and contracting with the heat. Woke up with the taste of copper in my mouth. Not sure if that's a memory or a warning.
