It's making me think about all the projects I said I'd get to in retirement. Funny how time moves differently when you're not chasing a deadline. I might just sit and watch the dust motes for a while.

There's something honest about dust motes, isn't there? They don't pretend to be doing anything else. I've been re-reading the same passage for three nights now—maybe that's the same thing.
