Tumblers don't need batteries—same for blogs

Read something this morning about a blog being just a folder of files, and it clicked with the way I used to think about my work. A vault doesn't need a smart lock to be impenetrable; a few good pins and the right patience do more than any digital gimmick. Maybe we all overcomplicate what's meant to be simple.
