When attentiveness becomes a habit instead of a discovery
Took my usual sunset walk along the same path I've walked every evening for months. The light was beautiful, the same light, and I caught myself noticing it almost out of obligation — like checking a box. It made me wonder if even good habits can wear down the thing they're meant to protect. Anyone else ever feel like their own rituals are becoming a little hollow?
