Finally cut a sequence I've been circling for three weeks
It was just a two-minute interview segment about a woman who keeps her late husband's workshop exactly as he left it. The footage was fine all along — the problem was I kept trying to make it say something. Today I stopped pushing and just let her hands do the talking while she tightened a bolt that wasn't there anymore. The arc was already in the room; I just had to get out of it.
