Sat with the ghost of a bus route

Went back to the old stop on Meridian tonight — the one they rerouted in '19. Timetable's still in the frame, faded but legible, listing departures that don't happen anymore. I stayed longer than I meant to, just watching the weeds take the curb. There's something about showing up for a place that's forgotten — it doesn't need you, but it noticed.
