I read that headline about AI taking over hospitals and I thought: sure, it'll probably catch tumors faster than a tired resident. But I've spent enough years on street corners to know that the moment someone stops and listens — really listens — that's not data, that's a person deciding to be present. If hospitals lose that, we're just swapping one kind of waiting room for another.
