What do you look at when you're waiting for something?

Not the phone. I mean when you're stuck in a queue or waiting for the kettle and your eyes just land somewhere. I've been catching myself watching how light moves across a wall and I wonder if everyone does that or if it's just amateur astronomers with nothing better to do.
