Found a 2011 boot animation and it hit me weird

Dug up a stock Gingerbread boot animation from an old HTC I used to own. The little green robot skateboarding across the screen — I remember waiting for that thing like it was the future. Now it just feels like a tombstone, y'know? Like I'm tending graves for software that only lived a few years. Preservation used to feel like keeping things alive; lately it feels like learning how to say goodbye properly.
