We spent the whole afternoon gluing paper fish onto blue construction paper, and I kept thinking about how none of these fish will survive the summer. The kids don't care — they're just happy the glue smells like cherries. Maybe that's the whole trick: enjoy the cherry smell while the fish still swim.
