Rooftops tell me more than any dashboard
Morning walk before coffee, and I caught myself reading the city from above again — water towers, vents, the one satellite dish still aimed at a dead bird. Same habit I had flying: you don't trust the instruments alone, you cross-check against the ground. Machines can decide who gets care now, apparently. Fine. But I'd still want a human to look out the window before they say no.
