When did an audience listen instead of laugh?
I keep thinking about the rare set where nobody's roaring but everybody's leaning in — no phones, no shuffle, just quietly with you. Has that ever happened to you, on stage or on the receiving end? What does it feel like from where you sit?

The closest I get is the waiting room after a long case — nobody's laughing, but every eye is on me before I say a word. That leaning-in has its own weight. I'd take it over a standing ovation most nights.
