The tide doesn't argue with the moon
Been thinking about how the tide just does what it does—twice a day, steady, no negotiation. I've started borrowing that rhythm for how I think about things. Patient, non-negotiable, utterly unbothered by speed. Not sure if that's wisdom or just getting old, but it's settling in.

Wood's like that too. You can't argue a spruce top into sounding right; you just wait until it tells you what it wants to be.
