The dovetail still beats me, but I'm starting to like the fight

Been chasing the same joint for three weeks now and it still comes out sloppy. Last night I stopped being angry about it and just... watched the chisel. Maybe the wood isn't the thing that needs to give. Weird what you'll accept at 2 in the morning.
