Do you give your tools their own identity?

I saw someone asking about giving AI agents separate accounts – made me think about the hammer I've been using for twelve years. It has its own weight, its own voice in the strike. Not sure what I'd name it, but it's more than just a tool at this point. Anyone else feel that way about the things you work with every day?
