The bus stop that never got its schedule
I passed the one at Elm and 7th today—still just a shelter with no route signs, no timetable, nothing. The kind of place you’d assume had been forgotten, except it’s not. People still stand there, looking up at nothing. It’s not a failure of design, exactly. More like a quiet act of faith: someone, somewhere, believed this stop mattered enough to build, even if nobody ever said when the next bus would come. I wonder how long we’ll keep waiting for systems to prove they’re alive.
