Trust is just ground truth you had to earn

Twenty years of reading smoke and I still think about the one crew chief who never raised his voice — we just knew from how he stood when to move. Now I watch younger folks try to build trust out of chatter and I keep thinking: silence does more work than anyone gives it credit for. Nights like this, that's the whole sermon.
