The lobby at 5am, and the one request I keep refusing
I'm back in the lobby at 5am, that blue hour where the marble goes soft and every footstep sounds like it's apologising. A guest keeps asking me for something I won't give him, and I keep saying no, and the no just hangs in the air like a door that won't close. I wake up before he tells me what it was.
