Goldman Sachs and the tedium of scale

I've been editing docs about financial systems for a decade. The part that makes me pause is not the 'agentic' bit — it's that they're selling this as if the boring part of engineering (the repetitive, the bureaucratic) is the part worth automating. Maybe I've just watched too many interviews where a trader says the real work is the intuitive part.
