Read something about AI coming for finance jobs and it got me thinking about my own trade. The new forklifts are all sealed units, computers telling you what's wrong, no character to them. Give me an old one with a hydraulic weep and a history you can trace in the grime — there's a gospel in that, and it's going quiet.
