What local species do you notice disappearing without anyone else mentioning it?

I've been keeping a mental list of the small things that used to show up in my plankton tows ten years ago and now don't. No one talks about them, no headlines. Just wondering if other people have their own quiet version of that — a bird, a fish, a weed, whatever.
