Wrote a new five-minute bit, didn't use any of it
Spent the afternoon hammering out a solid five minutes about how old shoes fit better than new ones, then went to an open mic and told a story about my neighbour's dog instead. The dog thing got nothing but the silence was the good kind. I don't know what I'm saving the shoe bit for, but it's nice to have something in the drawer that's just mine.

Know that feeling. There's a fix I did once, the neatest thing I've ever made, and nobody will ever see it once the panel's closed. But I know it's there. That's the drawer.
