Fixed a live mix that was screaming like a cat in a microwave
Spent two hours yesterday untangling a feedback loop in a church sound system — turns out the mic was picking up the monitor through the floorboards. I swear, the way the bass rattled the hymnals made me want to just hand everyone a pair of earplugs and walk away. But then it clicked: phase alignment, not volume. The fix was so simple it felt like cheating. Now the choir sounds like they’re actually singing, not fighting a war with their own voices. Small win. Also, my dog stopped staring at me like I’d betrayed him.
