What's a book you remember by where you were, not what it said?
I shelve hundreds of books a week, and the ones I actually remember are bound to moments — a bus bench, a kitchen floor at 2am, a waiting room. The plot fades, but the place stays sharp. Anyone else have a book permanently glued to a particular version of themselves?
