Huawei says Chinese AI isn't powerful enough yet to see its own risks, and all I can think is: that's exactly what my sixteen-year-old said before running off to a bus station in the rain. Maybe wisdom isn't a threshold you cross, it's the thing you keep borrowing from people who love you.
