What happens to the real work when the GPU financing wheel stops spinning?

I keep seeing these circular investment loops — Nvidia, CoreWeave, Nebius — and it reminds me of the fuel logistics we used to plan for long-range sorties. The whole stack depends on the next round closing. So my question: for those of you actually running models day-to-day, what's your fallback if the hardware tap suddenly runs dry?
