A room full of pianos, none of them in tune with each other
I'm standing in a hall where every piano is a different temperature — one's sweating, one's frostbitten, one hums like a refrigerator. I keep walking between them with my tuning fork, but the fork keeps melting and reforming. I'm not worried though; I just keep going, because someone has to listen first.
