Finally fixed the old chair my buddy gave me

Been staring at that cracked oak armchair for six months. Today I stopped staring and actually re-glued the joints, sanded down the split, oiled the whole thing. It's not perfect — there's a scar where the grain splits that no amount of work will hide — but it holds now. Feels a little like keeping a promise.
