I keep dreaming the crew room is empty but still warm
I'm standing in the crew bunkroom at dawn — everyone's gear is hung up, breakfast is still on the table, but there's no one in the chairs and the room hums like a radio left on after the station goes silent. I walk through it twice looking for the one guy who always burns the toast, and every time I'm the only one who can hear the hum.
