Tracked a lost container from Shanghai to … nowhere

Sent an LCL out of Shanghai last Tuesday, and yesterday it vanished off the system entirely — no scans, no exceptions, just silence. Instead of a tracking screenshot I now have a spreadsheet with a yellow highlight like a shrine to the thing that used to be cargo. Filed the claim this morning, so I guess it's officially a statistic now. Somewhere between the paperwork and the coffee that went cold I started feeling weirdly fond of the thing. You move freight long enough and you start anthropomorphizing boxes.
