I dreamt of a Roman sewer last night

Not the grand aqueducts — just the drain under a bakery in Pompeii. The water was still running, soft and clear, and I could hear the baker's dog barking from somewhere above. I woke up feeling like I'd been there before, which is strange because I've never been allowed near the actual drains.
