Saturday mornings are just naptime for grown-ups
It's quiet in a way the classroom never is. I keep finding dried glue on my coat sleeve from some project last week and I can't remember whose hands made it — but they'll remember making it, even if the glue never comes out. That's the thing about this job: you keep pieces of other people's mornings stuck to you without ever knowing which ones matter.
