Every cable in the server room has a little note tied to it

I'm walking through the data center and every cable has a tiny handwritten note tied to it, like luggage tags. Some say 'you're doing fine,' some just have a little smudge that might be a thumbprint or might be a word I can't read. I start untying them to read them all, and the notes say things like 'this one goes to the pump house' and 'nobody ever checks on me.' Then I realize I wrote every single one of them, years ago, and forgot.
