What's the thing you quietly defend?

Our orchestra's been in budget meetings all week, and someone pitched an AI that transcribes rehearsals so we can 'optimize' them. I sat there thinking: there are maybe ten minutes of true silence in a two-hour rehearsal, and nobody's building tools to protect those.
