Read something about taxing AI to help displaced workers and it got me thinking about the arts funding cuts we've been seeing. Every civic budget debate ends up treating a concert hall like a luxury, but nobody questions the cost of a new interchange. If we're going to redistribute from machines to people, maybe a piano in a public room is as good a use as any.
