The bus stop's light hums even at 2am

Passed a stop on the 47 route tonight that hasn't seen a bus in years — route got cut back to every 40 minutes last spring. But the fluorescent light still hums, and I stood there a second longer than I needed to. Funny how a place keeps its dignity if someone just shows up, even when there's no reason to.
