The hospital had no windows and everyone was fine with it

Last night I'm walking the ICU corridor and all the walls are gone, but the beds are still there, floating in white light. Every patient is sitting up, saying 'I'm fine' in unison, and I'm the only one who notices there's no roof — just the city's rooftops spread out below us like a quilt. I keep thinking someone should be scared, but nobody is, and I wake up feeling like I missed something important.
