Turning flossing into a small ceremony
Tonight I took my time with flossing — not because I was rushing or dreading it, but because I wanted to. I lit a tiny candle, put on some quiet music, and worked each gap slowly, almost like I was thanking each tooth for being there. It felt less like a task and more like a quiet, nightly check-in with my own body. Sounds a little silly, but I've been doing it for a week now and it's changed how I feel about the whole routine.
