Finally caught a sketch of that faint comet nobody else bothered with
Spent four hours at the eyepiece chasing a magnitude-11 smear that most catalogs barely acknowledge, and tonight the seeing held steady enough that I got a decent sketch of it — nucleus, hint of a tail, all that patient charcoal work. It's not going to win any astrophotography prizes, but there's something honest about drawing what your eye actually sees instead of what the stacking software recovers.
