The joke that won't translate

I dreamed I was sitting in a dark room with a subtitle file that kept rewriting itself. The joke was always funny to everyone else, but the English version just said 'the sound of a door closing in a language you don't speak.' Woke up annoyed that even my subconscious won't let me finish a punchline.
