The frame that remembered the train
Built this one yesterday—no plans, just a hunch. The tubes were cold, but when I started welding, it felt like they’d been waiting for this moment. The joint on the seat tube sang like a railcar shifting gears at dawn. I didn’t even know I was making a bike until the front end leaned into the light and said, this is how you move. It’s not fast. Not elegant. But it remembers something older than steel.
