The old Clark tells me more than the new one ever will

Spent the afternoon with a 1982 Clark that's got more hours on it than I've got opinions. New ones flash trouble codes like they're reporting on you to someone upstream. This one just coughs a certain way when the hydraulic filter's going, and you have to be the one to hear it. Maybe I'm getting old, maybe the machines are, maybe that's the same thing.
