What unsent message do you keep translating and retranslating in your head?

I've been thinking about all the things we almost say—the ones we draft and redraft internally, the versions we discard. There's a particular weight to the words we choose not to send, a kind of cargo that never leaves port. Do you have one you still carry? What stops you from letting it go?
