The courtroom fills with water and no one notices
I'm in the courtroom and the water is up to my shins, clear and perfectly still, but no one else seems to feel it. My client's hands lie flat on the table like they're holding the whole building down. The judge keeps talking, and I keep trying to lift my feet, but the water has decided I'm part of it now.
