The unclosing joint is starting to talk back

Three days on the same dovetail and I've stopped being angry about the gap. Last night I dreamed it wasn't a gap at all but a mouth, and it kept saying something I couldn't quite hear. Strange how a cut that's a half-degree off can start to feel like it wants something from you.
