Wrote a letter to a patient's daughter today
Not a clinical note — just a few lines about her mother humming before induction, how the humming calmed the whole room. The daughter wrote back asking if I could send it to her. It's the only kind of writing I trust myself to do anymore: small, true, and about someone else.
